"CopperGarden" Alembic 30L, welded

Elaborately crafted copper still of top quality and with hard soldered (welded with bronze) boiler made of plain copper. Due to the hard soldered boiler the copper still is guaranteed to remain permanently leak-proof, even if you distil large amounts or use the still for commercial purposes.  The sturdily crafted boiler can stand up to small dents without a problem, even at the junctions between the components which are usually delicate areas. The boiler of the CopperGarden® copper stills is assembled in the traditional type of construction out of three parts. The material of the bottom is considerably thicker than that of the side walls, which ensures better heat distribution. The reinforced bottom of the boiler contributes substantially to the stability, since the copper does not become brittle too quickly due to the effects of the burner.

   The welded CopperGarden® copper stills are a worthwhile acquisition with which you can reliably work for decades. The welded 30 liter CopperGarden® copper still consists of three parts: the already in detail described hard soldered boiler with 30 liter capacity, the perfectly matched head with swan neck and generously sized copper condenser with integrated cooling coil (worm condenser), and incorporated cool water intake and overflow pipe.  

   Conclusion: This 30 liter copper still from the CopperGarden forge leaves nothing to be desired and is suitable especially for ambitious hobby distillers – as well as for commercial use. All components are excellently matched and  have been improved to perfection over generations. A very well-engineered, and at the same time traditional still which we can unconditionally recommend.  

   Use: This alembic still is excellently suitable for the distillation of aromatic fruit brandy, whisky and brandy, as well as for the production of different types of pomace brandy or spirits made of flavoured alcohol. In addition to that, this still can also distil herbal distillates and essential oils very well, although we would recommend a column still or alquitara for the production of essential oils

Distillation is strictly regulated or even forbidden in some countries. Please inform yourself and pay attention to the regulations in your country. We can ship worldwide, but we cannot check if you are allowed to own a still. Shipping within the EU is completely unrestricted (Germany, Austria and Switzerland excluded). For shipping to countries outside the EU we have to affix the invoice and shipping list to the outside of the package. Up to now we have never had problems with the importation of our stills into other countries.
