"CopperGarden®" alembic 30L, riveted with thermometer 

   This sophisticated small alembic still from the CopperGarden forge is suitable for all types of alcohol distillation where the aroma from the mash is important (whisky, brandy, fruit schnapps, fine spirits, etc,...), but can also be used for the distillation of herbal distillates, and for the distillation of schnapps. Because of the traditional type of construction it has been used for hundreds of years in countless ways.

   The small alembic still consists of three parts – the riveted and organically sealed ( mixture of linseed oil and ground straw) boiler with about 30 liters capacity, the swan neck attachment (head, lyne arm, swan neck), and the adequately sized condenser (worm condenser) with integrated cooling coil and a cool water intake and drain. Clearly the classic among stills, even if the still is forged today with many improvements. For instance, the swan neck has been widened to prevent pressure, the junctions to the condenser have been solidly screwed together, the cool water intake is located at the bottom so one can easily connect a real cool-water circuit. The material for the bottom of the CopperGarden stills is thicker than that used for the side walls, which guarantees many years (generations) of enjoyment with your still.  

    This small 30 liter still was completely hammered out of copper, beautifully and evenly riveted, and is therefore a lovely decorative item for every display window, laboratory, pharmacy, bar, etc. Of course, the still can also be used for real distilling – exactly the reason it was forged.

Distillation is strictly regulated or even forbidden in some countries. Please inform yourself and pay attention to the regulations in your country. We can ship worldwide, but we cannot check if you are allowed to own a still. Shipping within the EU is completely unrestricted (Germany, Austria and Switzerland excluded). For shipping to countries outside the EU we have to affix the invoice and shipping list to the outside of the package. Up to now we have never had problems with the importation of our stills into other countries.
