Copper pot made of polished copper

This pot is made of polished, natural copper and is perfect for cheese-making as a kettle due to the unique properties of copper, as well as for all other dairy and non-dairy milk products. Cheese coagulates faster and more stable in a copper pot. The pot is also great for making jams. Jam sets better in copper, retains its color for longer, has a more harmonious aroma, and lasts longer. The properties of copper are highly appreciated in beer brewing as well, thanks to its direct temperature conduction (cools down faster), and of course, various types of pasta and dumplings can be cooked in the pot.

An uncoated copper pot is highly temperature resistant and can be heated to high temperatures, making it perfect for roasting nuts, coffee, or caramelizing almonds, etc. However, you should know that copper can warp at temperatures around 250 degrees Celsius and may no longer make full contact on an electric stove or ceramic hob after that. We recommend ideally combining these copper pots with a gas stove, as the pot can be heated much higher without any damage.

When cooking stews and regular foods, please never leave the food in the pot. You can cook whatever you want in the pot, but you should serve the dishes immediately after preparation or transfer them to bowls or other suitable containers. In the presence of oxygen, acid, and salts, verdigris can potentially form, which tastes terrible and is immediately expelled by the body. Verdigris can be easily recognized and cleaned, but it's better not to eat it. If you plan to cook "regular" dishes frequently in a copper pot, we recommend using pots coated with tin. The copper pot offered here is untreated and offers all the advantages of pure copper that we desire in many cooking methods.

Copper is a living material and will change color with each use. We recommend allowing the pot to mature until it acquires a beautiful dark brown patina. Copper protects itself from oxidation with this patina. If you prefer to showcase the pot with a high gloss, you can polish it anytime and restore its original shine.

Copper is the metal of love, and you will surely get to know and love your pots quickly. Cooking with copper is fun.
