"CopperGarden®" Waterbath 100 litres - prevents burning of the mash
Handforged copper cauldron with iron support - fits our 100 litre Alembics.
A waterbath effectively prevents burning of the mash. By placing the boiler into the waterbath, high temperatures cannot be reached anymore. Scorching of the mash is not possible any longer.
Owing to the low temperatures in the still boiler (mostly below 93°C), the tails cannot enter the aromatic middle run which would water it down. Ideal for fruit mash such as plums, apples and quinces that burn easily.
