The refining lentil (Dephlegmator) is screwed onto our stills (Alembic, Column & Hydro). The lentil can be installed and removed without any difficulty and increases the vapour resistance significantly. With this device you can achieve 60% proof for the first run and forgo a second distillation of the fine spirit.
For all alembics between 250 and 500 liters. NEW – improved model with water spray for intensified refining.
Please note: This refining lentil must always be ordered together with the still because of the additional mounting screws which are needed. This also means that a delivery time of up to 8 weeks can be expected for still & refining lentil.
