"CopperGarden®" water bath still "Hydro" 30L & thermometer
A genuine water bath still with a double-walled boiler for gentle distillation and the practical water sealing system with water channel. This still is complete with an installed original "Al-Ambik" distillation thermometer. When the still is filled with water a slight pressure of about 1 bar occurs. That is sufficient to increase the boiling point slightly and heat the contents of the boiler safely. Burning or overheating the mash is impossible. Distillation ends before the tails appear.
Please note that we deliver the still with an open water bath for reasons of safety. Instead of a valve we supply a brass pipe which releases any possible pressure which might build up. As an alternative to filling with water, the water bath still can also be filled with oil in order to achieve a higher temperature (over 300°C) or to prevent development of thick steam during distillation. However, you should then monitor the boiler temperaure closely and regulate it accurately in order to distil at the right temperature.

Distillation is strictly regulated or even forbidden in some countries. Please inform yourself and pay attention to the regulations in your country. We can ship worldwide, but we cannot check if you are allowed to own a still. Shipping within the EU is completely unrestricted. For shipping to countries outside the EU we have to affix the invoice and shipping list to the outside of the package. Up to now we have never had problems with the importation of our stills into other countries.
