Do you have any questions?

"CopperGarden®" 30 Liter Sauce & Jam Pot

This impressively large stirring pot has been handcrafted entirely from bare copper and is equipped with practical side handles. We are confident that you will love using this pot for cooking your jams, compotes, and jellies. Everything about this pot is just right.

Thanks to its flat bottom, the pot stands stably on any gas burner, but it can also be used over open fire or in the oven. Copper can withstand high temperatures, making the pot suitable for cooking roasted almonds or roasting nuts. The bare copper distributes heat optimally, prevents burning, and helps your jam achieve perfection. The transitions from the bottom to the walls are smoothly rounded, allowing for perfect stirring and easy cleaning. Thanks to the reinforced rolled outer edge, the pot remains stable in any situation and is highly hygienic to use. Another advantage: the jam pots from the CopperGarden® forge are riveted with brass handles, allowing them to be cleaned with saltwater or in the dishwasher.

It is guaranteed to be the best pot for cooking delicious jams in larger quantities. Of course, the pot is versatile and works excellently as a sauce pot, for cheese, quark, and other dairy products, as well as for chocolate, caramels, and other desserts.

 1. Copper has antibacterial properties and reliably kills microorganisms. You can achieve "stable" jams even at lower temperatures without having to "overcook" the vitamins.
 2. Copper acts as a catalyst and removes sulfur compounds and hydrocyanic acid from the cooking ingredients, contributing to a harmonious aroma and enhancing the true taste of the fruits.
 3. Copper helps the naturally present pectins in most fruits to gel better. The addition of gelling sugar is usually unnecessary in a copper pot.
 4. The amazing thermal conductivity of copper reduces the risk of burning. Your jam will be heated more evenly.

There are many reasons to cook with copper, but these were the four most important ones for making jam. Give it a try, and you will never want to cook in any other pot after a short period of getting used to it. If you have any questions, we are happy to assist you, even years after your purchase.

Why is copper best suited for cooking marmalade?

Copper has antibacterial properties and reliably kills microorganisms. You can achieve "stable" marmalades even at lower temperatures without having to "overcook" the vitamins.

Copper acts as a catalyst and removes sulfur compounds and hydrocyanic acid from the cooking ingredients, contributing to a harmonious aroma and enhancing the natural taste of the fruits.

Copper helps the pectins found in most fruits to gel. The addition of gelling sugar or other thickeners is usually unnecessary in a copper pot.

Copper's exceptional thermal conductivity reduces the risk of burning. Your marmalade will be heated more evenly.

Note: Copper is a "living" metal and may not always remain as shiny as shown in the pictures. A good copper pot will develop a brownish patina on the surface over time, which acts as a protective barrier against oxidation. We recommend letting this patina develop naturally. Alternatively, you can polish the pot at any time or seal it with a protective film for decorative purposes.
