Copper Sickle MIROSLAV
Traditional crescent-shaped herb sickle made from a durable copper alloy in a quality that is rarely found today. The inner edge is lightly sharpened and ideally suited for cutting your favorite herbs. An excellent tool that you will truly enjoy using. When cutting with copper, herbs stay fresh longer, as copper ions have an antibacterial effect and help prevent rot-causing bacteria from entering the open cuts.
We supply the sickle with a beechwood handle, 26 cm long, 11.5 cm wide, weighing 200 grams. Lightweight and extremely energy-saving in use. The edges remain sharp for a long time but can be resharpened if necessary. Low friction resistance; any deformation can easily be hammered back into shape. No rust formation (no verdigris either!), no maintenance required!
Material note: The copper alloy used for OJ garden tools contains up to 6% tin and is additionally cold-hammered to achieve the required hardness. Copper combined with tin creates the harder bronze. Copper is a flexible metal and will not break even under heavy use. If anything bends during work, it can easily be hammered back into shape. With use, the metal parts will initially become more reddish, taking on a copper tone, and gradually darken to a deep brown patina.
