"CopperGarden®" Copper Roasting Pot
This elegant roasting pot made of solid copper is perfect for preparing all kinds of vegetable, meat, or fish dishes in the oven, as well as for roasting, baking, and serving. It is ideal for delicate dishes such as soft-fleshed fish, and equally suited for specialties that require long cooking times, like leg of lamb, roasts, or slow-cooked meals.
This exceptionally high-quality roasting pot will quickly become one of your favorite pieces, and even when you’re not using it for cooking, it remains a decorative eye-catcher in the kitchen. We’ve grown very fond of it and wouldn’t want to be without it.
Note: This roasting pot is hand-forged from copper and tin-lined on the inside. Copper is a living material and will naturally change color. With use, the pot develops an irregular patina that can range to deep brown. Most photos show the pot in everyday use, after it has proven itself many times. The tin lining inside is carefully applied by hand and initially appears uneven and silver-colored. Over time, the coating will set, and the silver will gradually develop a beautiful patina that can darken to black. Tin is completely safe for the human body, so you can use the pot without concern. If the lining ever wears out, the entire piece can be re-tinned — truly a purchase for life.
