"CopperGarden®" 50 Liter Column Still
Here you get a wonderful and highly versatile distillation system in the top class. This still comes standard with a drain pipe and a removable, side-swiveling aroma column. You can distill both with and without the column. Despite its 50-liter size, the still can still be handled well in the hobby sector, is easy to clean and empty thanks to the drain pipe, and can be conveniently emptied and refilled multiple times in succession using the tilting frame. With these extras, the still is perfect for multiple distillations in a single day, producing substantial quantities of excellent distillates. You will love it.
The "CopperGarden®" column still consists of a 50-liter boiler, a swiveling aroma column mounted on a wrought iron frame with an integrated aroma basket, the typically well-shaped distillation cap, a two-part screwed rising and spirit tube, and a generously sized cooling tank with water inlet and outlet.
The boiler is made from three high-quality bronze components, hard-soldered, and protected against material stress during distillation, as well as equipped with a practical drain or cleaning pipe. Thanks to the pipe, the still can also be installed over a stove. However, for this size, we recommend using a gas burner or placing the still on a stand over a fire. The stands shown in the pictures are not included but can be purchased separately from us.
Example Uses for the Column Still:
Fill the boiler with water and the aroma column with the plants of your choice, and you will obtain a wonderfully intense and fragrant hydrosol. Depending on the plant, you can also extract high-quality essential oils through gentle steam distillation using the same method.
Without the column, fill the boiler with rose petals and water to distill a delightful rose water directly from the boiler. Please note that rose petals tend to stick and may clog the drain pipe.

Important Note:
This still is subject to registration requirements, and we must report the sale to customs for Germany and Austria. You may purchase and use the still in both countries without a permit, but you must notify customs in writing no later than three days after delivery, stating who you are, where the still will be located, and what you intend to distill. Private distillation of alcohol is prohibited in Germany (and Switzerland). In Austria, you may use the still for spirits with already taxed alcohol, but each distillation process must be reported to customs.
