"Al-Ambik®" 0-100 Vol% Alcoholmeter with Thermometer
This precisely measuring alcoholmeter shows you the alcohol content of your homemade spirits, as well as those of your purchased spirits and liquors. It is also essential for adjusting your own spirits, mixtures, and spirits to the usual drinking strength between 38 and 44 Vol%. Thanks to the integrated thermometer and the additional measurement scale, you can immediately and comfortably read the corrected values when there are deviations from the ideal temperature of 20°C.
Technical knowledge: This high-quality measuring spindle is calibrated at a measuring temperature of 20°C. Since the density of a liquid changes with temperature, the measurement result would be distorted at a different temperature. Thanks to the integrated thermometer and the additional scale, you can immediately detect any deviations and read the correction value without calculations. You will always receive an accurate measurement result!
It is delivered securely packaged in a plastic protective sleeve with usage instructions. As an accessory, we recommend a 250 ml measuring cylinder. An alcoholmeter should be able to freely float in the alcohol during measurement.
Note: Please note that an alcoholmeter can accurately measure the alcohol content in all water-alcohol mixtures. For wine, you will need a vinometer, for measuring freshly prepared mash, an Öchsle scale or a (Klosterneuburger) must scale is recommended. For measuring sugar-based alcohols (such as liqueurs), you will need a refractometer. Alcoholmeters are not suitable for liqueurs as the sugar would distort the result.
