<h1>Declaration of a reportable still to customs:</h1> <p><strong>Important to know: This still is reportable!</strong> You can order this still from us without a permit, even for personal use, but you must declare its possession to the appropriate main customs office within 3 days of delivery. It's easy, as a simple letter is sufficient. You just need to disclose your identity, the intended use of the still, and what you plan to distill with it. No special permission or distilling rights are required for the possession of the still.</p> <p>BUT: Distillation of alcohol is prohibited for individuals in DE, AT, and CH. However, you can produce hydrosols, flavors, essential oils, or even water in your own home for private use at any time.</p> <p>Please only place an order if you can declare this still to your customs office or provide a billing and delivery address in another country. Stills with a boiler capacity of more than 2 liters must be declared in Germany and Austria. In Switzerland, you can purchase stills with a boiler capacity of up to 3 liters without declaration. Shipping to other EU countries is uncomplicated and does not need to be declared by us to customs. For shipping to countries outside the EU, we need to attach an invoice to the exterior of the package for proper calculation of import taxes and fees. Please inform yourself and adhere to the laws in your home country before making the purchase.</p> <p>To distill alcohol, you need a commercial distilling permit. Please inquire about your options with the appropriate customs office. For this still, there is a double reporting requirement when shipping to Germany and Austria. We must report the sale of this distillery to our main customs office in Gieu00dfen within three days of your purchase, and as described above, you must report the acquisition of the still to your appropriate customs office no later than three days after delivery.</p> <p><strong>Exempt from declaration?</strong> In Germany and Austria, according to the new alcohol tax law, you can purchase stills with a boiler capacity of up to two liters from us without declaration.
