This high-quality PCM deep-freeze cooling pack was originally developed for demanding cooling and deep-freezing applications. Thanks to its special PCM filling, it supports temperatures down to approximately –21°C and can store significantly more cooling energy than conventional ice packs.
For distillers, this cooling pack offers a particular advantage: it is ideal for cooling circulating water in small and medium-sized stills. Colder cooling water improves condensation and can significantly enhance both the quality of hydrolates and the yield of essential oils.
Especially when distilling lavender, roses, herbs, or other botanicals, intensive cooling can help condense valuable compounds more effectively and reduce losses. Many users place several deep-freeze cooling packs directly into the cooling water reservoir. This keeps the cooling water cold for much longer and reduces the need for frequent water changes or refilling.
In addition, this cooling pack is naturally suitable for traditional cooling and deep-freeze applications.
