The highly robust Vesna field hoe has been lovingly hand-forged for you in Slovenia. An indestructible copper-bronze alloy was used, capable of withstanding even the highest demands during daily work. We supply the hoe complete with an approx. 125 cm long handle, 14 cm wide, and weighing around 900 grams. The hoe is lightweight and energy-saving in use. The edges remain sharp for a long time and can easily be resharpened if necessary. Low friction resistance, and any deformations can easily be hammered back into shape if needed. No rust formation (not even verdigris!), no maintenance required!
Material information: The copper alloy used for OJ gardening tools contains up to 6% tin and is additionally cold-hammered to achieve the required hardness. Copper combined with tin creates the harder bronze alloy. Copper is a flexible metal and will not break even under rough use. If anything bends during work, it can simply be hammered back into shape. During use, the metal parts will first become more reddish, taking on a copper colour, and will gradually continue changing into a dark brown patina over time.
