We offer the "Easy Moonshine" still here in the XL version with a large column. The column, which is 6 cm taller and significantly wider, provides much more space for your plant material. You will achieve a higher yield of essential oils and more concentrated hydrolates right from the start. This still is extremely easy to use and perfectly suited for distilling intense aromas, essential oils and rich hydrolates.
In our comparison test, we filled the column with 105 grams of lavender flowers and obtained 6.5 ml of essential oil in a single run. <h2>Distilling up to 2 Liters Boiler is Registration-Free!</h2> <p>Thanks to the new German Alcohol Tax Law (effective January 1, 2018), we are allowed to sell this still freely and without any bureaucracy to you and ship it to all countries in the EU as well as most other countries on our planet.</p> <p><strong>Important to know:</strong> We must point out that you are not allowed to distill alcohol in Germany and Switzerland. The still can be used registration-free for the distillation of water, hydrolates, flavors, natural remedies, cosmetics, essential oils, non-alcoholic beverages, etc. If you wish to legally distill alcohol in Germany or Switzerland, you need a commercial distillation license.</p> <p>In Austria, you may also use this still for flavoring and spirit distillation of purchased (taxed) alcohol with various flavor carriers, such as legally distilling gin. Distilling alcohol from mash is also prohibited in Austria.</p> <p>Please be aware of the laws in your home country. If you use this still to produce schnapps at home, you are considered an "illegal distiller" and could be charged with tax evasion for the amount of lost alcohol tax.
