Note: This extension is exclusively compatible with the 2-litre Easy Moonshine XL. It is not compatible with the smaller Easy Moonshine. The additional column, copper sieve, silicone seal and 4-inch stainless-steel clamp are included in the scope of delivery.

More plant material for your Easy Moonshine XL
With this extension, you can extend the fillable column of your “CopperGarden®” Easy Moonshine XL by an additional 25 cm. The extra volume creates significantly more space for herbs, flowers, needles, spices and other suitable plant materials.
This is particularly advantageous when working with bulky plant material. Flowers, leaves and loose herbs often require a lot of space despite weighing relatively little. With the extended column, you can process more of this material in a single distillation run.
Higher yield per distillation run
When producing essential oils and hydrosols, the possible yield depends, among other things, on the type of plant, harvesting time, moisture content, quality and the quantity of plant material used. The extension allows a larger amount of plant material to be exposed to steam at the same time.
As a result, the amount of essential oil obtained per distillation run may increase. Hydrosols may also be more concentrated when the ratio of plant material to water is favourable. However, a specific yield or concentration cannot be guaranteed due to the natural differences between plants.
Also suitable for botanicals and flavoured spirits
The additional column can also be filled with herbs, spices, fruit and other suitable botanicals. In countries where this is legally permitted, the Easy Moonshine XL can, for example, be used to produce flavoured spirits or gin.
The 2-litre boiler itself remains unchanged by the extension. The column extension only increases the available space for plant material or other suitable column fillings.
Complete with clamp, seal and copper sieve
The extension is inserted between the existing components of the Easy Moonshine XL. The supplied silicone seal and sturdy 4-inch stainless-steel clamp ensure a firm and secure connection.
The additional copper sieve serves as a support for the plant material being added. It distributes its weight within the extended column and keeps plant parts away from the steam paths.
Safe to assemble and easy to retrofit
No special tools are required for installation. The extension is attached to the Easy Moonshine XL using the seal and clamp. Before each distillation, all connections, seals, sieves and steam paths must be checked.
The extension makes the distillation unit taller and shifts its centre of gravity upwards. Therefore, always place the fully assembled unit on a level, stable and heat-resistant surface. Plant material must never be packed so tightly that the steam path is obstructed or blocked.
