"CopperGarden®" column still 3L & thermometer

The boiler of this column still has been reduced true to scale to 3 liters and can therefore also be used legally in Switzerland for distilling essential oils. This still can be used with or without the column, and as a result it is very versatile to work with.

   The still consists of the approximately 3 liter capacity high quality, welded (hard soldered) boiler, and the mounted column (approx. 2 liter volume with integrated sieve), the perfectly shaped head, the screwed on lyne arm / swan neck and the adequately sized condenser with water intake and drain.

   The attached hand-forged stand which allows you to tilt the still also serves to secure the column to the boiler during distillation.
 

Examples for use: If you, for example, fill the column with fermented pomace and the boiler with water you can obtain an excellent grappa. 

Or you can fill the boiler with water and the column with plant material of your choice - the result is aroma oil gently extracted by steam distillation.

Another possibility is to ferment using turbo yeast and fill the mash into the boiler. If you then fill the column with stainless steel chips or glass beads you can increase the vapor resistance as desired, rectify and obtain a high-proof neutral alcohol. 

If you then pour the alcohol into the boiler and fill the column with, for example, raspberries you will receive an excellent flavored spirit.

Distillation is strictly regulated or even forbidden in some countries. Please inform yourself and pay attention to the regulations in your country. We can ship worldwide, but we cannot check if you are allowed to own a still. Shipping within the EU is completely unrestricted (Germany and Austria excluded). For shipping to countries outside the EU we have to affix the invoice and shipping list to the outside of the package. Up to now we have never had problems with the importation of our stills into other countries.
