With this versatile Cataplana, popular in the South of Europe, as a universal cooking utensil and roaster, you get a unique cooking utensil for roasting, cooking, baking and serving. This cataplana has been sturdily hammered into shape from bright copper and is just as suitable for outdoor and camping kitchens as it is for luxurious, unusual dishes at home or for special events in event gastronomy. This Catalana was made in a small Portuguese factory with a lot of love and expertise and coated with 100 % pure food-safe tin. Because of this high-quality workmanship, it is not only suitable for all types of preparation from searing to serving, you can also use it to prepare and, if necessary, store all types of food. 

This unique cooking utensil originates from Portugal and is traditionally used there (similar to the Roman pot here) for baking in the oven, on the gas cooker or on an open fire. A wonderfully versatile shape with many possibilities even in the modern kitchen. The Cataplana consists of two bowls that can be used either as a lid or as a cooking utensil. The choice is yours.
