"CopperGarden®" 26 cm Copper Pan with Handles
A pan that could hardly be more practical. Why buy an extra lid when you can have two perfectly matching pans instead? This ingenious pan set allows you to fry and bake as usual—at home on the stovetop, on a gas cooker, on the grill, over a campfire, or in the oven. The possibilities have never been so versatile. You can use both pans separately, but thanks to the perfectly shaped rim, they also fit together perfectly, greatly expanding your possibilities in the kitchen, on the grill, and while camping.
Steaming fish and vegetables, baking pizza and lasagna in embers, flipping tortillas, serving directly at the table, or gently simmering slow food dishes—the pan can do it all and will surely bring you great enjoyment. Thanks to the excellent heat conductivity of copper, you can fry, steam, simmer, and cook better than with any other pan, and you will soon not want to use any other cookware.
Copper is, for good reason, the most popular material in fine dining as well as for camping and outdoor cooking.
Thanks to the food-safe non-stick coating made from pure tin, the pans are suitable for all types of food while maintaining the incredible heat conductivity of copper. You will love it. In addition, the pan is perfectly suited for gas cooktops and is so beautiful that you can serve directly from the pan even in elegant settings—after all, presentation matters. A delight for guests as well as for the cook.
The pan was crafted with great care and expertise in a small manufactory within the EU—ideal for those who value sustainability. If needed, the pan can be polished, reshaped, or re-coated at any time. This makes the pan a truly unique investment for a lifetime.

However, please note that copper has extremely high heat conductivity. The handles of the pan will become hot during use. Please take care and use oven mitts and trivets.

Manufacturer address: UNICOBRES GmbH & Co.KG, Hersfelder Strasse 16, 36132 Eiterfeld, Germany, E-Mail: info@destilatio.com

Why tinned copper? Copper offers the best heat conductivity. With a core or coating made of aluminum or steel, this advantage is reduced. The tin lining is 100% safe, as the body naturally eliminates tin. At the same time, the excellent heat conductivity is preserved. If the tin lining should become dull or scratched over time, it can be re-tinned. This ensures the pan remains usable for a lifetime.

Healthy Cooking with a Copper Pan

Our tip for a healthy life, long-lasting copper cookware and more enjoyment in the kitchen: use only good-quality oils and add a small amount to your pan right from the start. A copper pan should never be heated empty.

Important to know: From 232 degrees, the tin lining may begin to melt. From 250 degrees, the copper may warp.

A normal stovetop can reach 400u00b0, a ceramic glass cooktop up to 600u00b0, and a gas flame or open fire can exceed 1,000u00b0!

Donu2019t worry! During normal cooking, frying, and baking, you will never reach these temperatures.

Pay attention to the smoke point. Itu2019s simple: if the oil smokes, it is too hot! You will harm your health long before the pan is damaged.

From 175u00b0 onward, frying and deep-frying becomes unhealthy! Acrolein forms. Even high-heat oils burn at the latest around 200 degrees. There is only one exception: artificially highly refined sunflower oils can withstand extreme temperatures above 230 degrees.

Add your food to the pan before the oil burns! Your health will thank youu2014and so will your pan.

Another tip: You donu2019t need a thermometer for frying. Use a wooden spoon and briefly dip the end into the hot oil. If small bubbles form around the handle of the spoon, the oil is hot enough for frying. If it begins to smoke, it is far too hot.

What if it does happen? If you accidentally heat your copper pan above 232u00b0, the tin lining may melt. This is completely harmless to health even if it comes into contact with food. Your body will simply eliminate it. If necessary, the pan can be re-tinned.

If you expose your copper pan to temperatures above 250 degrees, it may warp. This is usually not a major problem, but when cooking on an electric stovetop, a warped base may reduce heat transfer efficiency.

One more important note: Copper transfers heat very quicklyu2014even to the handles! Please use oven mitts or a cloth when handling the pan.

This copper pan is a very high-quality cooking tool. With a little care, it will quickly bring you great joy and accompany you for a lifetime.

Copper is a living metal and will change color with use. You can polish away these marks of life, but we recommend leaving them and allowing the pan to age gracefully.

Tin may become dull through use. The original silver shine will change into a matte gray. If desired, you can have the pan re-tinned at any time. For a pan of this size, this typically costs around 30 euros, but it is not necessary as long as the lining is not heavily worn or scratched.
