"Rommelsbacher" 14.5 cm RAPID Hot Plate
We love this excellent and highly robust single hot plate from "Rommelsbacher" because of its impressive 1,500 watts of power. The plate rightly carries the nickname "Rapid Hot Plate" because, despite its compact diameter of only 145 mm, it delivers the full performance of a much larger hot plate.
You can adjust the temperature continuously using the rotary control with 12 control markings, allowing you to reduce the power as needed or simply keep food warm at the lowest settings thanks to the integrated thermostat. For us, this is one of the best hot plates available anywhere, and we are pleased to recommend it with confidence because of its reliability as well as its sustainable German manufacturing in Dinkelsbühl.
We use this rapid hot plate as an additional cooking surface in the kitchen. It is powerful enough to heat even larger pots and performs exceptionally well when distilling with the ALQUITARA or LEONARDO stills.
