“CopperGarden®” 2-Litre Column Still SIGNATURE
One still – an incredible range of possibilities: The SIGNATURE is the logical next step in the development of our proven “CopperGarden®” column stills. Together with the manufacturer, we have further refined the design and incorporated extensive practical experience. The result is a superbly crafted and exceptionally versatile 2-litre still for anyone who wants to experiment with herbs, blossoms, plants and aromas and discover the fascinating world of distillation.
The SIGNATURE consists of a heavy-duty 2-litre copper boiler, expertly hard-soldered from three components, a removable aroma column with integrated aroma sieve, and a particularly beautifully shaped still head. The tapering swan neck guides the vapours through the vapour tube to the generously sized cooling vessel with a fine cooling coil. Extra-wide screw fittings ensure a reliable and secure vapour path.
Plenty of space for herbs, blossoms and plants
One of the SIGNATURE's particular strengths is its generous plant chamber. For classic steam distillation, fill the boiler with water and place your herbs, blossoms or other plant material in the aroma column. The rising steam passes through the plant material and carries the volatile compounds towards the condenser.
And if you need even more space, you can also fill the generously shaped still head with plant material. Depending on the type and volume of your plants, you can therefore use just the column or extend the available plant chamber up into the still head. This is a major advantage, especially when working with light and voluminous blossoms and herbs.
With or without the column – you decide
The aroma column is removable. This allows you to configure and use the SIGNATURE in different ways depending on the application. For example, you can distil plants with steam in the column, or place the still head directly on the boiler and distil plant material together with water in the boiler.
This makes the SIGNATURE ideal for producing hydrosols, floral waters, aromas, fragrances and essential oils. At the same time, its flexible design opens up numerous other possibilities for exciting experiments in the world of distillation.

<h2>Stills with a boiler capacity of up to 2 litres do not require registration in Germany</h2> <p>Since 1 January 2018, distillation equipment with a boiler capacity of up to 2 litres may generally be purchased and owned in Germany without registration.</p> <p><strong>Important:</strong> The fact that registration is not required does not automatically mean that every type of use is permitted. In Germany and Switzerland, private distillation of alcohol is generally prohibited. However, the SIGNATURE may be used to produce hydrosols, floral waters, aromas, fragrances, distilled water and essential oils.</p> <p>In Austria, alcohol that has already been purchased and taxed may, within the framework of the applicable legal regulations, be flavoured with aromatic ingredients such as juniper berries, herbs, spices or fruit and used, for example, to produce gin or flavoured spirits. The production of alcohol from self-fermented mash is likewise not automatically permitted for private individuals in Austria.</p> <p>Please inform yourself about the current legal regulations applicable in your country before using the equipment.
