"CopperGarden®" water bath still  Hydro 10L

A genuine water bath still with a double-walled boiler for gentle distillation, and the practical water-sealing system with a gutter. When the still is filled with water a slight pressure of about 1 bar occurs. That is sufficient to increase the boiling point slightly and heat the contents safely. This feature makes burning or overheating your mash impossible. Distillation ends before the tails are expected.

Please note that we supply the still with an open water bath due to safety reasons. Instead of a valve, we supply a brass pipe which releases any pressure which might arise. As an alternative to filling with water, you can also use oil if you want to achieve higher temperatures (over 300°C) or to avoid the development of thick steam during distillation. However, you should monitor and regulate the temperature of the boiler very carefully so that the temperature is not too hot during alcohol distillation.

Important information:

Distillation is strictly regulated or even forbidden in some countries. Please inform yourself and pay attention to the regulations in your country. We can ship worldwide, but we cannot check if you are allowed to own a still. Shipping within the EU is completely unrestricted. For shipping to countries outside the EU we have to affix the invoice and shipping list to the outside of the package. Up to now we have never had problems with the importation of our stills into other countries.
