"CopperGarden®" column still 50L
A completely equipped top-of-the-line still with an original Al-Ambik® distillation thermometer and a removable rectification column. You can distil with and without the column. The CopperGarden column still consists of the over 50 liter capacity boiler, the column which is fitted onto a wrought iron swivel stand and includes an integrated sieve, the classic, well-formed head, the two-part screwable lyne arm and swan neck, as well as the adequately sized condenser with cool water intake and drain. The boiler is expertly and permanently welded (with bronze hard soldered) and additionally fitted with a pipe for draining or cleaning.
Please note: the 30 cm wrought iron stands in the picture is not included in the delivery , but can be separately ordered.
Examples for use:
If you fill fermented pomace into the column and water into the boiler you can obtain an excellent grappa.
Or fill the boiler with water and column with plant material of your choice – this gentle steam distillation yields essential oil.
Another possibility is to ferment with turbo yeast and fill the mash into the boiler. If you then fill the column with stainless steel pellets or glass beads, you can increase the vapour resistance at will and rectify – thus obtaining high-proof tasteless alcohol.
If you fill the alcohol into the boiler again and the column with, for example, raspberries you can obtain an excellent raspberry-flavored spirit.
