A premium still which is fitted with a removable column. It can be used with, as well as without the column. The still consists of an approx. 10 liter, top quality, soldered boiler, and the mounted column (approx. 4 liters volume with integrated sieve), the head, the two part screw-on lyne arm / swan neck and the generously sized condenser with water intake and drain.

We supply the still with or without the wrought iron stand for tilting the column, and the drain pipe. Both parts are more decorative than functional because of the small size. If you want to distil essential oils you can forgo using the "Al-Ambik®" distillation thermometer.

Examples for use:
If you fill the column with fermented pomace and then fill the boiler with water, you can obtain an excellent grappa.

Or you can fill the boiler with water and the column with plants of your choice - the result is valuable aroma oil extracted gently by steam distillation.

Or you can ferment using turbo yeast and fill the mash into the boiler. If you then fill the column with stainless steel raschig rings or glass beads you can increase the vapour pressure as you want. By using this method you obtain a high percentage neutral alcohol.

If you pour the alcohol into the boiler again and fill the column with, for example, raspberries  you will acquire an excellent raspberry-flavored spirit.
